Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026. This policy covers personal information collected through ascendryx.net. Our products have their own policies, and information we process on behalf of a client under a service agreement is covered by that agreement.
1. Who is responsible
Ascendryx Information Technology is the personal information controller for this website. We can be reached at [email protected]. We handle personal information in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.
2. What we collect
Information you give us when you use the contact form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your organisation, if you enter one
- The topic you select and the message you write
Information collected automatically when you visit:
- Standard server and network logs, including IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request
- Security and performance data recorded by our content delivery provider
This website does not use advertising cookies or third party tracking pixels.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and continue the conversation about it
- To prepare a proposal or quotation if you ask for one
- To keep the site secure and to investigate abuse
- To meet legal and record keeping obligations
Our basis for processing enquiry details is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, together with our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list from a contact form submission.
4. Please do not send third party data
The contact form is for describing your situation, not for transferring records. Do not include customer names, account numbers, identification documents, health information or other personal details of third parties. If you do, we will delete them once the enquiry is dealt with.
5. Who else is involved
We use a small number of service providers to run this site and receive messages:
- A content delivery and hosting provider that serves the site and filters malicious traffic
- An email delivery provider that passes contact form messages to our inbox
- A web font provider, which receives your IP address when fonts load
These providers may process data outside the Philippines. We share only what is needed for them to do their job, and we do not authorise them to use it for their own purposes.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we have a record of what was discussed. Server and security logs are kept for a short period by our providers. You can ask us to delete your enquiry earlier.
7. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Object to processing, or ask us to erase or block information
- Ask for a copy of information you gave us
- Complain to the National Privacy Commission if you believe your rights have been breached
To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity before acting.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Messages reach a mailbox with access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected people and the National Privacy Commission if a breach occurs that requires it.
9. Children
This site is aimed at businesses and organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
